Ayutthaya was the original capital of Thailand. It was founded in 1350 AD and became the capital of Siam. It was destroyed by the Burmese army in 1767. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park and is a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Boys In A Rice Paddie
I really like this image although the scanned quality is not very good. This had been shot with Kodacolor and the negatives were lost. The scan was made from the only surviving print.

Boy At Wall, Mayanmar Border in Thailand
Near the town of Mae Sot are a number of refugee camps for displaced Burmese. Many of the displaced are Karen who comprise about 7% of the 47 million population of Myanmar. This building is a movie house and a young boy is peering through a whole in the corrugated steel wall.
